A dream became reality:
After spending one week in New York this April 1999, my next destination was located more west.
From last week in September to last week in October I traveled through the USA again.
But this time, I went to California, Nevada, Arizona and Utha.
Now, what did I see and where did I go ?
I started my trip in San Francisco. And continued on Highway No.1 ( Santa Cruz,Monterey, Big Sur) close to Santa Barbara.
The next destination was located more east:
The Death Valley Quite close to Death Valley, was the next stop. After gambling two days (unfortunately I did not win)
Next time I stopped atThe Grand Canyon.After Grand Canyon I saw the Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park.Unfortunately I had
only one day left for Yosemite National Park what is much to less.
For the statistic:
I drove about 4200 miles which are about 6760 km from San Francisco to San Francisco.
I really spent a lot of money for this trip (it was the most expensive but also the most exciting vacation I have had so far).
I have been to four States (California, Nevada, Arizona
and Utha) but only two Major Cities (San Francisco and Las Vegas).
But the best thing was, that I had all the days nice weather.
Well,the Pacific Coast was a little foggy, but all the other days were sunny and
mostly warm (or hot). I was verry lucky with the weather this vacation.
